Kung Fu Tea honey black tea with boba: Half a year ago, I posted a positive review of the newly opened Kung Fu Tea in Somerville (Davis Square), with particular praise for their boba. I've since returned several times and have found the quality has dropped significantly. For my last visit, I had half-sugar honey black tea, which was fine, but the boba was mushy and soft. Maine Root lemon lime soda: Lightly carbonated citrus soda that is on the sweet side. I prefer a more fizzy drink, but the overall flavor is not bad, though it's not distinctive enough to purchase again. 3.0/5.0

Trader Joe's speculoos cookies: Technically, I already reviewed this snack, but it was back in the day when I didn't give numerical scores. Speculoos is a type of spiced European biscuit commonly made with brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. The TJ's version is sweet and has a good level of spice. They make you feel like it's the holidays. Overall, a good value snack. 3.5/5.0

365 Multigrain Morning O's: Mixed size whole grain cereal containing barley, corn, and brown rice. Classic flavor that is just sweet enough. A good value. 3.0/5.0

Sour!tails blue raspberry sour candy: More sweet than sour, this pink and blue striped gummy candy has a paste-like interior that reminds me a bit of bubblegum and is flavored similarly to what I associate with brands like Hubba Bubba or Bubble Yum. It's like a Cow Tail with its chewy exterior and icing-like interior. Eating it took me back to grade school goody bags in a nostalgic but not particularly fond way. 27g of sugar in the "tail." 2.0/5.0
