Lotus Foods Shoyu Arare Rice Crackers: Purchased from Whole Foods, this is the second flavor of rice crackers I've tried from the Lotus Foods brand. The product is made with whole grain brown and black rice "sourced from small family farms" (very Whole-Foods-marketing friendly). The rice crackers themselves are more hearty than most and have a distinct soy flavor. Nonetheless, I do prefer the Thai-flavored crackers I previously purchased, and I also prefer rice crackers with a more diverse set of textures and flavors. 3.0/5.0

Luna & Larry's Coconut Bliss coconut almond in chocolate dessert: Haven't had a chocolate-covered ice cream bar in ages but my newly lactose-free dad was craving ice cream, and these coconut-based non-dairy bars were on sale at Whole Foods. Its dark chocolate coating is mixed with chopped almonds, and the whole product is organic. Overall, a really good quality product. Isn't overly rich (like a Haagen Dazs) but still decadent. Classic coconut + chocolate flavor combination. Would eat over most other ice cream bars, non dairy or otherwise. 4.0/5.0

Milton's corn bread crackers: I reviewed this snack back when tastysnacking had no scoring system. The snack now has new branding and tastes quite different than I remember. The crackers are surprisingly buttery and amazingly capture the texture of corn bread while transforming it into a crunchy form. Seasoning is perfect. Very addicting and unique. 4.0/5.0

My Super Cookies Blueberry Vanilla Hero Whole Grain Cookies: These are surprisingly tasty whole grain cookies that contain a bunch of ingredients not normally associate with cookies like quinoa and chia seeds. They have a distinctively sweet blueberry flavor that tastes truer to the fruit than blueberry cereal bars. The serving size is small, and they are kind of expensive (I got them when they were on sale at Whole Foods), but otherwise I recommend trying them. 3.5/5.0

Nancy's plain soy yogurt: Oddly, the plain flavor of this product has more sugar than either the blueberry or strawberry flavors I tried, with 15g per cup. With the plain yogurt, the true flavor of the product really comes through, and it's not particularly pleasant. It tastes like a highly concentrated piece of tofu and, for some reason, had a savory aftertaste despite the sugar. I found myself adding honey to mask the strong flavor. 2.0/5.0

Nancy's strawberry soy yogurt: Similar to the blueberry flavor I previously reviewed, this yogurt may not look very appetizing (the brownish color reminds of a liver pâé), but it tastes pretty good. Because it's non-dairy, it has a unique texture more like custard than traditional yogurt. The strawberry flavor is pleasant. 3.0/5.0
