Arrowhead Watermelon Lime sparkling water: I purchased this beverage because I needed a container to use with my homemade carbonator. Though it contains 100% natural ingredients, the watermelon is reminiscent of watermelon-flavored Blowpops. Overall, it's a difficult flavor to imagine pairing any food with this drink, and it's not desirable enough to have on its own. 2.0/5.0

Harmless Harvest Harmless Coconut Water: This is a product that appeals to all types of coconut water consumers: it's fair trade (for the socially responsible), it's organic (for the health-conscious), it has a distinctively shaped bottle (for designers), and it's kind of expensive (all of the above). Some are pink (which happens when the polyphenols naturally present are exposed to light), while some are clear. Overall, I found it to be well balanced, refreshing, and light. 4.0/5.0

Alasehir Sarikz strawberry flavored sparking water: Purchased from the Turkish grocery store Sevan in Watertown, this brand of sparkling water comes in an assortment of fruit flavors. The stout green bottle provides just enough beverage to accompany a small meal. Flavorwise, the strawberry drink reminded me of fruit-flavored paste sometimes used in dental cleaning. Largely artificial, and not a drink I would purchase again. 2.0/5.0

Good Belly coconut water: I purchased two more GoodBelly flavors because of a sale at Whole Foods. The first I tried was coconut water with probiotics added. The drink has a slightly green milky tint, with brown sediments on the bottom. It has a strange flavor added on top of coconut water (I think from the grape juice listed on the ingredients). bevi sparkling water: In my lab's recent leanbox takeover, we've acquired a carbonated beverage machine that has several options for flavored water. I have tried all but the lime and mint flavor and green tea, both drinks I normally wouldn't choose to drink.
