Culture Plain frozen yogurt with pumpkin cheesecake topping : The pumpkin cheesecake topping at Culture, a yogurt chain in NYC, features cubes of pumpkin-flavored cheesecake and a drizzle of pumpkin syrup / caramel. Seven Stars Farm organic lowfat plain yogurt: This yogurt comes from a dairy farm in Chester County, PA and has a tangy flavor. Because no artificial thickness are added to the yogurt, it quickly develops an uneven, clumpy texture after opening. I found the texture to be slightly off putting but also wondered if this is just what "natural" yogurt tastes like. Until I try others like this, I can't say for sure. 3.0/5.0

Pavel's Plain Nonfat Yogurt: This was my first time trying Russian Yogurt, which I don't think is actually a distinct regional style but rather a marketing term used to describe a particular way of making yogurt (Googling the term "Russian Yogurt" only brings up the Pavel brand). The yogurt forgoes any stabilizers and emulsifiers, which gives it a varied texture similar to cottage cheese.
