Rosa Brothers chocolate milk: Phenomenally rich and creamy chocolate milk. Like the best chocolate ice cream you've ever had, but melted to liquid form. Only downside is that it's so rich that a small sip is enough. This is from someone that isn't even a chocolate milk fan. Fantastic product. 4.5/5.0

Seed + Mill Tahini Goats Milk Softserve: Mildly flavored nutty soft serve from Seed + Mill, a small stand in the middle of Chelsea Market. Goats milk gives it a slight tang. A unique offering. Just a tad icy. 4.0/5.0

Shake Shack black and white malted milk shake: A thick, rich milkshake made of high quality vanilla and chocolate ice cream. I love malted milkshakes, and the extra $0.50 for malted is definitely worth it. Needs to be paired with a tall glass of water. Definitely not for the faint of heart but a treat once in a while (it's about 1/3 of your daily calories). 4.0/5.0

Sharetea Hokkaido black milk tea with boba: I stopped by this branch of Sharetea to scout out tea shops in downtown Berkeley; this one is located right on the edge of campus. Coming in around lunchtime meant there was a sizeable line of college students, and it took about 10 minutes total from getting in line to retrieving my drink. Their menu has several variants of classic black milk tea, including Hokkaido black tea, which supposedly has a roasted brown sugar flavor. Silk unsweetened coconut milk: This drink suffers from its lack of versatility. Its tropical flavor makes it difficult to pair with (unlike almond or soy milk, which have a more neutral flavor), and its high saturated fat content makes it hard to justify, even with the extra calcium. 1.5/5.0

Smak Po Brzegi Goralki Mleczne (wafer with cream filling): About twice as thick as a kit kat, this wafer bar is sealed around its border with a thin layer of milk chocolate. In between the styrofoam-like layers is a whole-milk cream. The milk flavor is more prominent than the chocolate, which makes it somewhat distinctive, but nonetheless not notably desirable. 2.0/5.0
