Want Want Pepper flavored rice crackers : I bought a set of three different flavors of rice crackers last time I was at Hong Kong Supermarket, and this was the second bag I tried. The pepper seasoning reminds me a bit of the coating on Taiwanese fried chicken, which is to say a savory salty flavor that's mildly spiced. I liked it more than the chicken flavor since it tasted less of soy, but it wasn't so noteworthy that is recommend. 3.0/5.0

Wei Chuan squid flavored crispy fish rolls: Ingredients include lizard fish, red mullet, Chilean giant squid, and mitre squid. Upon opening, the bag smells strongly of fish food (which is pretty cannibalistic if you think about it). While the packaging shows what appears to be mini yellow spring rolls, the squid flavored snack is actually brownish-red. Each piece is about the width of a cinnamon stick and had a hollow interior. It's thin and crispy and tastes like dried squid combined with fish sauce. A bit of heat. High in seasoning. 2.5/5.0

Wringley's Extra grape flavored gum: I'm not a big fan of gum. You might have noticed that, as I have zero gum reviews on Tasty Snacking and don't believe I've ever bought a pack of gum in mg life. This Wringley's Extra grape-flavored gum is from China and was offered to me by a friend. It has a Chiclet-like coating though it is thinner and longer in shape. YBC Aerial Roe Butter Flavored Chips: It is very rare for me to come across a snack that is fundamentally different than any I've had before, and this fried Japanese corn snack is one of them. YBC Aerial Cheddar Flavored Chips: I really like the texture of these light and crispy chips from Japanese junk-food manufacturer YBC. They consist of nugget-shaped chips that are multi-layered and irregularly shaped, giving it a very unique texture. The cheddar flavored ones have a milky and creamy flavor that is common among cheddar-flavored Asian snacks, which is less salty and sharp than American cheddar-flavored snacks.
