Barbara's jalapeno cheese puffs: Crunchy corn "puffs" that are a little spicy and just a little funky (they contain a bit of blue cheese). I'm generally not a fan of blue cheese, but it works well here. Very addicting, with a robust cheddar flavor. A unique spin on a classic snack. 4.0/5.0

Trader Joe's reduced fat cheese puffs: Usually when a brand had a reduced fat version of a snack, there is a full-fat option too. Not so with this bag of Trader Joe's cheese puffs, as far as I know. Less cheese coating than an alternative like Cheetos, but a decent amount of flavor. A solid but messy snack. 3.0/5.0

Laurel Hill Nacho multigrain tortilla chips: Awkwardly sized long, rectangular chips that have a milky cheese flavor, almost like what you might have with boxed mac and cheese. Disappointingly small serving size of 7 chips. Multigrain flavor is not bad, though, and the seasoning had a slight zesty kick. 3.0/5.0

Sorrento / Galbani string cheese: What seems to be a double-branding marketing scheme for Italy's favorite cheese brand yields a tasty, well seasoned mozzarella cheese snack. The texture is not the most stringy, and the cheese is pretty firm, but overall, it's a product I'd purchase again for its good value. 3.5/5.0

Bearito's Cheddar Puffs: Baked cheddar corn puffs made with non-GMO verified ingredients. The cheddar coating is somewhat unevenly distributed; when I first opened the bag, the top was not very seasoned, but in the middle of the bag, the puffs were more thoroughly covered with cheese powder. The cheddar flavor is tangy and a little bit funky, like a health food cheese flavor (as opposed to a junk food one). Annie's organic cheddar squares: I'm generally a fan of Annie's bunny crackers, and these more traditional square are maybe the last of their brand I haven't tried. Unfortunately, I found that the crackers lacked seasoning and consistently tasted over baked. The under seasoning is surprising since I tend to like very lightly seasoned foods, so those used to over salted crackers like Cheez-Its will definitely consider these a miss.
