HR Poppin' Snacks Cheddar Inferno Popcorn: Looks are deceiving with this bag of cheddar popcorn - its standard orange color belies its spicy flavor, brought out by cayenne, chili, and jalapeño powder. A nice amount of heat, though the popcorn isn't as light and airy as it could be. Has a very long ingredient list filled with artificial colorings. This bag magically appeared at work, so I'm not sure where one would go to purchase it, but it's not bad for what it is. 3.0/5.0

I Heart Keenwah Aged Cheddar flavored quinoa puffs: Cheese puffs that substitute quinoa for corn and thus have a more substantial amount of protein (5g). About the size of a quarter, these crunchy bites have a flavor strongly reminiscent of aged cheddar boxed mac and cheese powder (the nice Amy's kind, not Kraft). Ends with a punchy peppercorn kick. Bag contains few servings (3). Worth a try if you're looking for a slightly healthier alternative to cheese puffs. 3.0/5.0

Late July Organic Mini Cheddar Cheese Crackers: This organic take on a classic snack suffers from the same flaws as Ritz: the crackers are over salted, and the serving size is too small. I don't see how it's possible to eat 13 mini crackers and not feel more hungry after the fact. Not recommended, especially considering the premium for an organic product. 2.0/5.0

Lay’s White Cheddar Poppables: I was hoping these would be like 3D Doritos, but unfortunately they didn’t have the same impact. The chips are like football-shaped pockets with a lattice exterior similar to waffle fries. The dominant taste is of fried oil, and the white cheddar is there but not especially strong. I wouldn’t try them again, or any other flavors in this product line. 2.5/5.0
