Morgenstern's Raw milk ice cream with blueberry and strawberry jams: A Fourth of July special with two scoops or raw milk ice cream and streaks of blueberry and strawberry jam throughout. A largely flawless dessert: rich and indulgent, while fruit jams add welcome sharpness. Perfectly smooth texture. Basically as good as it gets for a clean, classic ice cream cone. 4.5/5.0

Morgenstern's Sumo Yuzu Pop: This is the last review I'll be writing of ice cream treats from Morgenstern's collaboration with Action Bronson. This double dipped yuzu pop is pure citrus in its highest form. Several layers of coating, with a smooth and somewhat slick texture, add to an intensely tart yet balanced citrus ice cream center. Anyone that loves citrus will be able to fully appreciate how excellent and singular it is. 4.5/5.0

Morgenstern’s Cardamom Lemon Jam ice cream: There are many great ice cream shops in NYC, but Morgenstern’s has been my favorite for a long time. Over the years, I’ve found myself mostly purchasing their specials, but this time I ordered one of their regular menu flavors, and it did not disappoint. This cardamom lemon jam ice cream has a really wonderfully spiced cardamom flavor, with a creamy yet sharp acidic aftertaste. Texturally, it is perfectly smooth. It’s a fantastic flavor that shows off how consistently good Morgenstern’s can be. 4.5/5.0

Morgenstern's x Repeller Tomato Gazpachoo Ice Cream Bar: Slightly larger than a stick of butter, this special edition ice cream bar from NYC-based shop Morgenstern's consists of gazpacho flavored ice cream coated in a thin tomato-flavored shell. The shell is softer than your regular chocolate dip because of its high fat content (it's made of cocoa butter and coconut oil), so the coating dissolves on the tongue quickly, exposing the fantastic combination of tomato, cucumber, and lemon that make up the ice cream filling. Mr Bartley's Black and White Malted Milkshake: For my last official snack in Cambridge, I had to get one of Bartley's famous malted "frappes" (milkshakes). Over the 9 years I've lived in Cambridge, I've had their milkshake a few times, spaced several years apart.
