Divino Apulian peach gelato: The cubed package contains a palm-sized peach filled with gelato on the inside. After waiting about 10 minutes for the dessert to defrost, you separate the halves of the fruit and can scoop out the gelato with an included miniature plastic shovel. The gelato is very good, with a fresh, concentrated peach flavor. The peach itself is slightly tart and not very sweet, but eaten together with the gelato, the entire dessert is well balanced. From Southern Italy. 4.0/5.0

Great quality gelato that's tangy, tart, and just sweet enough. Wait about 15 minutes for the kiwi fruit to be soft enough to eat, but wait too long, and the liquid seeps through the thin kiwi membrane. 4.0/5.0

Cucumber mint was refreshingly clean, and lemon was tart and sharp. Pure and concentrated flavors. Out of the way, but if you’re in the area, Dolce is definitely worth a stop. 4.0/5.0

She and her husband have been offering to-go treats at a separate pop-up on the edge of Tompkin Square Park, including churro cone ice cream that I've previously reviewed. Now they're planning a yogurt shop called Dominant Culture an... (read more) 4.0/5.0

The texture of the marshmallow is excellent - light but having a satisfying chew - and it has a crisp honey-flavored sugary shell. Before you reach the ice cream filling, it’s overly sweet due to the layer of caramelized sugar, but the chocolate crunchies add a touch of bitterness that ultimately balances it out. An elevated and playful reworking of a... (read more) 4.0/5.0
