Du’s Donuts Ice cream sandwich : I really enjoyed the Pyggy sandwich I had at Byggyz, the newly opened sandwich shop in LES (NYC) from Wylie Dufresne’s dad Dewey. We decided to also try their one dessert option, an absurdly priced $7 ice cream sandwich made with Du’s donuts (the donut shop Wylie launched earlier in the year). Sonoma Creamery Mr. Cheese O's Cheddar Cheese Snacks: Shaped like mini donuts, these crunchy cheddar-flavored snacks are made with organic quinoa and have a multigrain-texture. But, like many cheese-based snacks, they have a greasy, slick coating that makes you reach for a napkin. Slightly spiced, like a cheddar log dip. Sapp Apple ginger birch water: The murky brownish green color of kombucha, this beverage has a slightly sweet and earthy maple-like flavor mixed with tart apple and very mild ginger. It’s a refreshingly different drink that’s not too sweet, with 6g of sugar in a bottle. 3.5/5.0

Bubble Tease Milk tea with boba: Toronto has some of the highest concentration of bubble tea shops that I’ve witnessed. This classic black milk tea from Bubble Tease had a decent sweet and slightly herbal flavor. The boba was ok - a bit too soft and without flavor. 3.0/5.0
