Trader Joe’s Sweet & Salty granola bars: Chewy and flavor-heavy snack option combining almond butter and yogurt, along with grains and nuts. Barely a granola bar; more likely candy. Overly sweet for my palate. Surprisingly not so filling. 3.0/5.0

Noosa Blackberry Serrano Yogurt: A surprisingly spicy yogurt whose heat builds up quickly, this blackberry serrano yogurt is too spicy to be a sweet and too fruity to be savory. The quality of the yogurt is as good as any other Noosa flavor: creamy yet thick, with enough moisture to not need an accompanying glass of milk. It’s not a snack I plan to return to, yet I think it’s commendable for Noosa to take this risk and give us something I haven’t seen before. 3.0/5.0

Forager Vanilla Cashewgurt: This non-dairy yogurt made with cashew milk had a much thinner consistency than regular yogurt. It’s almost like a non-cream-based soup in terms of viscosity. Texture aside, the flavor is decent, but not particularly memorable. You might even say it was a bit vanilla. 3.0/5.0

Noosa Blood orange whole milk yogurt: I like blood oranges but most blood orange flavored snacks tend to remind me of artificial orange candy. This Noosa yogurt was not one of my favorites, with an orange sherbet taste that is overly sweet. The yogurt by itself is good quality though - rich and creamy. 3.0/5.0

Noosa Key lime whole milk yogurt: Extremely dessert-y, almost like having a key lime pudding instead of a yogurt. Has a nice amount of like tartness but also extremely sweet. If it had half the amount of sugar, it would be perfect for me. 3.0/5.0

Superiority Burger Apricot and Labne ice cream: Two flavors, apricot and labne, ran for about $6 at this cramped East Village vegetarian spot. The apricot ice cream was strangely warm, very lightly sweetened, and faint though slightly tangy in flavor. The labne sorbet, on the other hand, was sharp and refreshing, tasting of high quality yogurt. Both had a slightly sticky texture reminiscent of Turkish ice cream (but not quite as elastic). Would definitely enjoy the labne again - the apricot, not so much. 3.0/5.0
