Balthazar Banana Nut Donut: NYC institution Balthazar had a small bakery adjacent to the restaurant where you can grab pasties and coffee to go. Their banana nut donut is very good, with a fluffy texture lightly iced and topped with a banana-nut crumble. I love banana nut bread, and this treat successfully captures its essence in a way that is neither overly sweet nor heavy. 3.5/5.0

Kashi Almond Snickerdoodle Chewy Nut Butter Bars: Here, Kashi continues its quest to introduce candy-like flavors to their otherwise health-centric line. Oats and chopped almonds are held together with an almond butter paste. A spiced cinnamon flavor not unlike cinnamon toast crunch dominates the taste. Pearson's nut goodies: This staple candy bar from St. Paul, MN consists of a substantial nougat layer, roasted peanuts, and milk chocolate. The nougat is soft and similar in texture to almond joy filling (without the coconut) - it dissolves on the tongue. Very sweet overall (28g of sugar).
