Organic Valley Chocolate Lowfat Milk: I got this chocolate milk along with my Chipotle kids' meal (a perfect size for adults who cannot finish a Chipotle burrito, like me). The chocolate flavor was too sweet, but it did have a satisfying richness. I also didn't get sick from the actual food. 2.5/5.0

Cadbury Daim Dairy Milk Chocolate: I'm a big fan of Daim and Heath-like candy bars generally. This chocolate bar had a generous portion of crushed Daim, which added good texture. Unfortunately, similar to the Oreo bar, the milk chocolate itself was too sweet. Best to just stick with the Daim, which normally already had chocolate. 2.5/5.0

Sharetea Hokkaido black milk tea with boba: I stopped by this branch of Sharetea to scout out tea shops in downtown Berkeley; this one is located right on the edge of campus. Coming in around lunchtime meant there was a sizeable line of college students, and it took about 10 minutes total from getting in line to retrieving my drink. Their menu has several variants of classic black milk tea, including Hokkaido black tea, which supposedly has a roasted brown sugar flavor. Cheeseboard Buffalo Milk Soft Serve Ice Cream: Regrettably, I ordered the swirl of chocolate and plain milk flavors, and while the texture was smooth and creamy, the chocolate had a generic taste that masked the more mild milk flavor. While it was higher quality, this ice cream did remind me a bit of the little cups of vanilla and chocolate ice cream you ate with a wooden spoon as a kid. Pavel's Whole milk yogurt: Purchased on sale at Berkeley Bowl since I needed whole milk yogurt for a soup I was cooking. Product has a nice tart flavor, but the texture will be off putting to most. It doesn't have any stabilizers, so after you open it, it quickly becomes both clumpy and watery. Works well if you're adding to other things bough, like a soup or smoothie. 2.5/5.0
