Noosa Raspberry whole milk yogurt: I liked how the texture of berry segments was preserved in the fresh and sweet raspberry pulp mixed in to this Noosa flavor. As far as standard berry flavored yogurts go, this is above average but not so much so that I would go out of my way to eat a raspberry flavored yogurt (except to write this review). 3.5/5.0

Noosa Peach whole milk yogurt: Rounding out this week of Noosa reviews is their peach flavored yogurt. Peach is such a standard yogurt flavor that it verges on mundane, but a good one, even if it doesn’t surprise you, can be satisfying, as this Noosa flavor is. The sweetness of the fruit compote is slightly tempered by the richness of the yogurt. Overall, a solid take that’s a welcome option when you want to eat something familiar. 3.5/5.0

OO Tea Jasmine milk tea with boba: OO Tea is a Taiwanese import of the brand “Wushiland.” As far as I know, there are only two locations in the US: one in a San Gabriel strip mall in LA and another in a Ranch 99 in San Diego. I went to the latter, which was an unassuming bubble tea stand without any seating; my order was taken in Mandarin, not English. Wushiland uses organic milk for their milk teas and it shows. I ordered their jasmine milk tea and found it to be the single best version of milk tea that I’ve ever had in the ... (read more) 4.5/5.0

Organic Valley Chocolate Lowfat Milk: I got this chocolate milk along with my Chipotle kids' meal (a perfect size for adults who cannot finish a Chipotle burrito, like me). The chocolate flavor was too sweet, but it did have a satisfying richness. I also didn't get sick from the actual food. 2.5/5.0

Oshidori Milk Cake: I bought this candy because of the cute but somewhat dated-looking packaging, which made me think it was probably an older classic snack. Inside the bag are individually wrapped milk cakes, hard sticks about 2x in length as a stick of gum. They are completely opaque in color but have some air holes in them. Each stick is fairly brittle so that they snap when you bite into it. Flavor-wise, this was definitely one of the worse things I've eaten in Japan. It tastes kind of like I'd imagine... PaTea Brown sugar oolong milk tea with boba: I really love living in NYC, but one thing that was missing for me was a mom-and-pop super-asian bubble tea shop, the kind that has an overwhelming number of flavors that isn’t a major chain like Gong Cha or Coco. Those types of shops are omnipresent in the Bay Area, but not so much here. However, that gap has now been filled by PaTea, a very small bubble tea shop a few blocks away from Union Square. There, they have the “chubby” bucket-sized bubble tea cups in a variety of milk and fruit te... (read more) 4.0/5.0
