Timeless Tea Beet Lemon Tea: I was hopeful to find a good bubble tea shop but ultimately found Timeless Tea, a shop close to University District, to be disappointing. The teas are on the expensive side (many over $6), though the menu is expansive. Tomarchio Limonata Sparkling Lemon Soda: A nicely balanced acidic soda that's slightly reminiscent of Mountain Dew, but just for a second. The sizing of the can makes it feel more filling than a typical 12oz, though it's all psychological I think. 3.5/5.0

Trader Joe's Lemon Baton Wafer Cookies: One of the better cookie options from TJ's, these Pirouline-like wafers are thinner and crispier, with a pale crispy coating and sweet, slightly floral lemon filling. Would purchase again (something I'd only say for about ~25% of the snacks I've tried from TJs). 3.5/5.0

Trader Joe's Organic Sparkling Ginger and Lemon Apple Cider Vinegar Drink: I really like the acidity of shrubs, so I was excited to find some apple cider vinegar drinks at Trader Joe's. This one combines two of my favorite flavors: ginger and lemon. I wish it had a little bit more spicy ginger flavor but otherwise was very good - you get the tanginess of the vinegar combined with the acidity of the lemon, without being overly sweet. 4.0/5.0

Trader Joe's Organic Sparkling Lemon and Strawberry Apple Cider Vinegar Drink: I really enjoyed the ginger and lemon apple cider vinegar beverage I previously purchased from Trader Joe's, which is a fairly classic flavor combination as far as shrubs go. This strawberry lemon version is a little more unique and was equally refreshing – the berry flavor is tart and sweet, and overall the drink is well balanced. I was very sad to see that these drinks may now be out of season at TJs but I hope you get to try it if you come across it on the shelves. 4.0/5.0

Urban Foods Black currant and lemon superfood bites: Dense cubes at the intersection of trail mix and granola bar seem to be on trend this year. This version from Urban Foods is more crunchy than chewy overall, with a satisfying and wholesome blend of textures, from crispy quinoa to soft oats. The berry and citrus combination (dried currants and lemon oil) is unique and delicious. Serving size is small and comes at a price (a 5 serving bag is $5).
