Beneficial Brewing Company Jamaican Ginger Hibiscus Kombucha: Great purity of flavors – ginger and hibiscus are refreshingly balanced. Slightly tart with a nice amount of spice that doesn't overwhelming. From Seattle-based brewing company and purchased at stocked at Chicken Supply in Phinney Ridge. 4.0/5.0

Bucha Belly Lemon Ginger Organic Raw Kombucha: Bucha Belly is yet another Seattle based kombucha brand, offering subscription deliveries. I came across this brand at a local restaurant. Unfortunately, while the flavor was relatively clean, the ginger was lacking in potency, and it tasted mostly of lemon. Overall, it wasn't a bad drink, but it wasn't a particularly notable one. 3.0/5.0

Culture Shock Last Unicorn Blueberry Ginger Kombucha: I never really considered myself to be a kombucha person, but Washington state seems to be really into it, and being a fan of beverages more generally, I'm up for trying local treats. GT's Gingerade Kombucha: I've been a little sick recently and found this ginger kombucha to be very cleansing, with a good level of spicy ginger flavor balanced with lemon. It's a sweet beverage but still feels refreshing. Would recommend, even when not sick. 3.5/5.0

House Kombucha Rose black Kombucha: Strikes a decent balance - not overly floral yet still clearly tastes of rose. Rose mixed with a vinegar-y fermented flavor is hard to pair with food, though, so this is more of a drink to have on its own. 3.0/5.0

Iggy's Hawthorn Rose Honeybrew Kombucha: Iggy's is a kombucha brand from Bainbridge Island in Washington that's distinctly sweetened with honey. This particular can, purchased at PCC, has cardamom and myrrh (a tree sap), giving it a uniquely floral, fruity, and spiced blend. A standout flavor that doesn't quite taste like anything I've had before. Highly recommended. 4.5/5.0
