Nature's Path Sunrise Crunchy honey cereal: Can't decide if you want corn flakes, crisped rice, or puffed corn cereal? This has all three and more with flax, quinoa, and other wholesome ingredients. Nice Choice honey dew melon cake: Similar to pineapple cake but with a deep green, melon-flavored interior. From Taiwan. Buttery exterior with filling that is just sweet enough. Melon interior is substantial and slightly chewy. A nice dessert. 3.5/5.0

Pitango Gilato: I stumbled across this highly regarded gelato shop during my travels in DC and tried four different flavors (two of which I purchased). The star anise was barely sweetened and distinctive in flavor; the blood orange, while very refreshing, tasted more of raspberry than citrus (the sign said it contained a bit of raspberry). Salt & Straw lavender honey ice cream: Excellent smooth texture. Too often, honey ice cream is too sweet and lavender ice cream is too floral. This ice cream is neither and is very well balanced. Scoop is extremely generous. Maybe too generous as I'm only interested in a taste. 4.5/5.0
