Trader Joe's chocolate coconut almonds: An indulgent snack that feels like an elevated Almond Joy. Bite-sized, snackable balls of almond covered in coconut and coated in dark chocolate. Very good and addicting. Perfect level of sweetness. 4.0/5.0

Trader Joe's Candy Corn Popcorn: Even though I don't particularly like candy (you may notice I review very little of it here), I still like Halloween because it's the only time of the year I can have Butterfingers. And I actually do like candy corn in small quantities, even though it essentially tastes of pure sugar. UHA Tea Gummies: An impulse buy at 7-11, these are miniature gummy candies about half the size of a typical gumdrop. There are four different flavors: brown sugar, milk tea, mango tea, and orange tea. They seen extra chewy and dense. My favorites is the milk tea and mango, though they all have a definitively artificial candy flavor. I'm not sure it works collectively since milk tea is pretty different and someway clashing in flavor with free teas. 3.0/5.0

Vidal creepy gummi: In my latest munchpak, I received this Halloween-themed candy, and I'm happy to report it is the only piece of candy I had on the holiday. The gummy had a bit of a cherry jello flavor and was more gelatinous (and less set) than most gummy candies. Not a candy I would ever purchase on my own. 2.0/5.0

White Rabbit Cream Prune Drops: Most people know White Rabbit from their iconic chewy milk-flavored candies wrapped in rice paper. But when several coworkers from Shanghai visited bearing (candy) gifts, I was surprised to find prune-flavored White Rabbit hard candies. These drops are reminiscent of dried sour and sweet salted plums that are a popular snack in Taiwan. It is probably not a snack universally enjoyed, but those who like salted plums will appreciate its flavor. 3.0/5.0
