Happy Lemon Yakult Lemon Slushy: I returned to the Happy Lemon in Boston (located in the Arcade Mall in Downtown Crossing) and ordered a Yakult Lemon Slushy drink this time. Yakult is a popular Japanese yogurt drink that comes in cute plastic containers. The texture of the slush was good but melted quickly in the summer heat. The boba was much improved from my first visit, with a good amount of give. Overall, the drink was on the sweet side but balanced out by the acidity of the lemon drink. 3.0/5.0

Stonyfield pomegranate, raspberry, and acai fat-free yogurt: The consistency is oddly sticky but has a good, neutral flavor. The berry mix is nondescript-I can't say I taste any of the berries individually. But at least the flavoring is not overly sweet. 3.0/5.0

Want Want cheese flavored rice crackers: In this bizarre East meets West snack, a cheese powder reminiscent of what you might find in boxed mac and cheese is paired with the crunchy, neutral base of an Asian rice cracker. The combination is odd yet intriguing. The cheese flavor is lighter and creamier than most cheese snacks but surely not any less artificial. The packaging is much nicer than most Want Want snacks-each packet contains two rice crackers in a frosted, plastic wrapper. 3.0/5.0
