Siggi's Lingonberry & Strawberry skyr yogurt: If you have been following Tasty Snacking for some time, you will know that I am generally a fan of Siggi's yogurt, which is thicker and less sweet than most. I was excited to find a new flavor at Berkeley Bowl: Lingonberry & Strawberry. Like other flavors, the fruit is pre-mixed into the yogurt and gives the yogurt a slightly purplish-pink hue. Specialty Selected strawberry soft licorice: Australian "licorice" that luckily tastes nothing like the classic herby snack. Instead, the candy is very sweet, thick, and more gummy than chewy. The type that get stuck in your teeth. Very filling. Substantial. But too sweet. 3.0/5.0

Sweet Olenka's Ontario strawberry ice cream: Stumbled upon this minuscule ice cream shop and was drawn in by newspaper clippings praising its unique flavors. Sadly, no especially bizarre combinations were to be found tonight, but I got a very solid Ontario strawberry ice cream that was somehow vegan despite being creamy and smooth. Strawberry flavor was very pure though more light than concentrated. The Base Co Strawberry Shiso Match + Oatly: Purchased at Holy Basil in Downtown LA, this canned beverage is one of many house-made drinks available including Hibiscus Oolong Tea and Thyme Orange Meyer Lemonade. The selection made it hard to choose, but given that I expected the Thai dishes at Holy Basil to have a bit of heat, I opted for a milk tea option.
