Casamara Club Sera sparkling amaro soft drink: Got this can of soda from Petra in Bushwick. It tastes like someone took the traditional elements of a cola (allspice, cinnamon, and citrus like lemon, orange, and grapefruit) and removed all of the sugar (the entire bottle has 4g of sugar). Quite a medicinal flavor that I would imagine only adults could enjoy. I didn't think it was bad for what it was, but it also wasn't a drink I would ever reach for. 3.0/5.0

Cortese ginger soft drink: This Italian mixer strangely contains no ginger. Instead, it had carrot juice and safflower. The flavor is slightly acidic, on the sweet side, and has no expected kick. It comes in a vivid red color. 2.5/5.0

Cheeseboard Buffalo Milk Soft Serve Ice Cream: Regrettably, I ordered the swirl of chocolate and plain milk flavors, and while the texture was smooth and creamy, the chocolate had a generic taste that masked the more mild milk flavor. While it was higher quality, this ice cream did remind me a bit of the little cups of vanilla and chocolate ice cream you ate with a wooden spoon as a kid. Not bad per se, but not great either. 2.5/5.0

Cascadian Farms Oats & Chicolate soft baked squares: What do you get when you get a Chips Ahoy cookie, make it square and 1.5x as thick, use organic ingredients, and soften the texture to make it more crumbly? Dominique Ansel Kitchen Honey Creme Fraiche soft serve with elderflower grapes: The newest special soft serve from Dominique Ansel Kitchen in the West Village. It's a sizable portion that comes at a sizable price just over $10. The honey creme fraiche ice cream had a good flavor, like a honey-sweetened tart yogurt, but the elderflower-marinated grapes were just not good. They were coated in sugar, making them entirely too sweet and difficult to eat. Without the grapes, I would have given it a 3 overall given the price, but with the grapes, it's a 2.5. 2.5/5.0
