Clover organic peach Greek yogurt: I've always wondered why fruit-on-the-bottom peach yogurt seems to taste the same no matter the brand: it bears some resemblance to peaches but also has a flavor distinct to dairy products. Guerrero Chicharron de Cerdo: Picked from the bottom shelf, this bag of cracklins' unembellished packaging indicates that it contains "fried out pork fat with attached skin." Not a snack I can imagine finding easily at a large supermarket chain in the Northeast. While it's high in fat and sodium, it disappointingly falls short, with a dense, crunchy texture and lack of any distinct flavor. For a high calorie snack, I was hoping for a much bigger payoff. 2.5/5.0

Ritz Sea Salt Crisp & Thins: My mom caught on to my love of snacks, and during a recent visit, she took it on herself to pick out a few for me. Lay’s White Cheddar Poppables: I was hoping these would be like 3D Doritos, but unfortunately they didn’t have the same impact. The chips are like football-shaped pockets with a lattice exterior similar to waffle fries. The dominant taste is of fried oil, and the white cheddar is there but not especially strong. I wouldn’t try them again, or any other flavors in this product line. 2.5/5.0
