Awake caffeinated caramel chocolate: Milk chocolate bar segmented into four with a caramel filling. An entire bar contains as much caffeine as a cup of Joe. The chocolate itself is a basic milk chocolate, as was the gooey but overly sweet caramel. Whether or not the caffeine content was effective for me (or if the effects were purely psychological) I cannot say. 2.5/5.0

Biscolata dublex: Turkish chocolate bar with a biscuit foundation and cream-filled milk chocolate. Excessive? There is 16g of saturated fat in a bar, 100% of your daily recommended serving. (In)conveniently, the nutrition facts are discretely covered by the wrapper's fold, and the sugar content is nowhere to be found. Flavor-wise, we have a common vending machine milk chocolate bar with a crunchy biscuit base: familiar and generally inoffensive. 2.5/5.0

Canasta Guava cookies: From Costa Rica, this packet contained four miniature shortbread cookies with a guava jam center. The shortbread was so-so, the jam interior sweet, tropical, and chewy. Not too much to say about these cookies, positive or negative. 2.5/5.0

C Nature Choco Puff melon chocolate crunch cracker: A Korean snack combining puffed rice krispies with melon-flavored white chocolate. The melon-chocolate combination is pretty bizarre, and the cantaloupe flavor is concentrated but artificial. Puffed rice prevents the bars from being too dense. The box contained 4 individually wrapped pieces, each of which was fairly substantial (about 3" long). 2.5/5.0

Covered Bridge Montreal steak spice seasoning potato chips: Hailing from New Brunswick, Canada, these crisps taste most strongly of black pepper, though the overall flavor is less robust than I expected it to be. Onion and garlic add to the savory flavor (there isn't any sweetness, like some American steak sauces). I do like how the chips are irregular, with a browned edge from the skin of the spuds. 3.0/5.0
