Kameda Soft Salad crackers: Slightly more savory that's Want Want Shelly Senbei crackers, but a decent neutral snack. I prefer rice crackers paired with sweet icing, though. 3.0/5.0

Kameda Ageichiban: Japanese rice crackers individually wrapped with a half-dome, textured shape. Crunchy and slightly sweet. Tastes like a familiar yet improved rice cake. Addicting. 3.5/5.0

Kameda Kotsubukko : Bite-sized pieces of chocolate, tins of mint, or take-away cookies never work on me as impulse grocery store purchases. But rice crackers with too-cute packaging positioned directly next to the checkout does the job. This pack of 4 snack-sized bags of sweet and savory soy flavored crackers have a deep savory taste and are portioned larger than most so that a bag is actually filling. Kameda Age Ichiban Corn Potage Rice Crackers: Individually wrapped rice crackers, about 2" in diameter, with a concave shape and irregularly textured surface. Purchased from Sunrise Mart, the Japanese supermarket chain in NYC. 2.5/5.0

Kasugai roasted hot green peas: The one and only. Spicy, but not overly so; crunchy, but not dense. A true classic. 3.5/5.0

Kasugai Squid Pea Snack: I expected this to be a wasabi pea snack but quickly discovered that pea is short for peanuts. Each crunchy rice ball contains a single peanut. The exterior is crispy and tastes a bit like shrimp crackers (the ingredients list cuttlefish). A bag contains two servings, which go quickly. 3.5/5.0
