Suja organic Mango Magic drink: I would describe this beverage as a slightly spiced version of Odwalla's Mango Tango. They contain almost the exact same ingredients (apple juice, mango purພ, orange juice, and banana purພ), but Suja's has the addition of ginger juice, which gives it a subtle hint of spice at the finish. There are no added sweeteners, as the ingredients are naturally sweet, making the drink overall very sugary (44g per bottle). I liked it but think I might have been better off eating some fresh fruit instead. 3.0/5.0

Berkeley Bowl Organic Gravenstein Apple Sauce: During the weeks leading up to thanksgiving, these jars of apple sauce were prominently displayed at the entrance of Berkeley Bowl. The apple sauce is sweet and textured with a nice amount of autumn spices. My one of the best apple sauces I've had, but a good value. 3.0/5.0

Bernie's Best Gravenstein apple cider: The last time I was a Cheeseboard, I purchased an excellent bottle of Autumn Blend apple cider from Bernie's Best. This time, I opted for the only other flavor available at the pizzeria: Gravenstein apple. Unfortunately, this flavor lacked the depth achieved in the Autumn Blend and altogether tasted pretty typical for a decent store-bought apple cider. Not bad by any means, but also not worth going out of the way for. 3.0/5.0

Mr. Holmes Bakehouse Apple and marscarpone cruffin: In LA on Larchmont, Mr. Holmes Bakehouse looks like just a regular pastry shop: no lines, a modest storefront, and a few nicely presented seasonal options. Both cruffin flavors (maple and beer and apple and marscarpone) were available, with seemingly no particular demand. Plum organics Apple cinnamon and oatmeal Jammy Sammy sandwich bars: Square cereal bars sized for kids (they barely fit in my palm). Has an apple cinnamon flavored “jam” in the middle that’s sweet, but because of the size, it’s not overwhelmingly so. Decent and standard; probably wouldn’t purchase again because of the minuscule portion size. 3.0/5.0
