Yaokin Takoyaki Umaibo: Continuing my quest to try every flavor of Umaibo (a challenge I don’t think will ever end), I tried the takoyaki flavored corn snack. For those who haven’t had takoyaki before, takoyaki is a Japanese street snack consisting of battered octopus balls topped with shaved bonito flakes and a kewpie mayo drizzle. YBC Levain cheese sandwich crackers: I think the texture of cheese Ritz crackers is probably controversial, with it's fluffy texture and vaguely mild cheddar flavor, but I've always enjoyed it. These Japanese YBC crackers are similar but with a crispier, flakier cracker base; the cheese flavor is otherwise similar The bag comes with two individually wrapped stacks. YBC Garlic Steak Chips: Aerial is a junk food staple in Japan consisting of layered fried corn pieces with a crispy and light texture. The underlying fried corn flavor reminds me a lot of Bugles (which also have their Japanese equivalent in a snack called Tongari Corn), but the texture of Aerials is much more fun. Yoshimi Yakitokibi: Several months ago, I wrote a review of Trader Joe's mochi rice nuggets, a fried savory glutinous rice snack unlike any other mochi I had eaten up to that point. Yotsuba Berry Mix Yogurt: A fairly standard berry flavored yogurt containing a mix of strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry. The yogurt itself is creamy, with good acidity, but the flavor overall is nothing out of the ordinary. 3.0/5.0

You Love Fruit passion fruit punch snack: This organic fruit leather snack has a fruit-by-the-foot feel, with heart-shaped slices you peel off of a paper backing. Each pack contains 16 sizable hearts, equating to two servings. It's not overly sweet like many fruit snacks are, and the passion fruit flavor is pure if not the most pronounced. Good source of fiber. Tastes healthy but not quite like a health food snack. 3.0/5.0
