The Laughing Cow White Cheddar Babybel Cheese: I miss those Laughing Cow mini cubes, readily available in the dairy aisle of the local supermarket in the 90s and even obtainable when traveling in Taiwan as a child. But I haven’t seen them in many years, except for in Canada where they still seem to be sold and in the UK, which I only know because there was a recent British ad campaign I found on YouTube. The Little Kernel White cheddar popcorn: I had big hopes for Little Kernel, with its cute packaging and promise of kernel-free popcorn snacking. Unfortunately, while the fat content is quite high, I found the cheese flavor underwhelming and borderline bland. The kernels were small, though. 2.5/5.0

Volcano Tea House White peach oolong tea with boba: At 25% sweetness, this herbal oolong tea had a light and refreshing white peach flavor, though it did taste syrup-y. The boba was quite good-neither overly chewy or soft and just a tad sweet. Good enough that I would consider revisiting this Sawtelle-based bubble tea shop in the future. 3.0/5.0

Zabar's Black and White Cookie: Despite having lived / been around in NYC for most of my life, I had not had a Black and White cookie until this week. I learned from Wikipedia that there are at least two styles of Black and White cookies; a dense shortbread base is common in NYC, while a more cake-like base with frosting is more likely to be found in Central New York. Zeitaku Kajitsu White Peach & Yogurt: This is a white peach yogurt that contains pieces of peach fruit. I like it more than American peach yogurt, but not so much more - it's fairly neutral and does the job, but it's not the most interesting yogurt on the shelves. 3.0/5.0
