Bubble Tea Share Time Ginger milk tea with boba: Small mom-and-pop bubble tea shop Share Time is yet another bubble tea option in Berkeley. Located on Shattuck about a ten minute walk from the Downtown Berkeley BART station, Its menu consists of largely classic milk and fruit teas. Their ginger milk tea is very good, with a prominent ginger flavor mellowed out by creamy milk. Boba was above average in consistency - a little soft but with good elasticity. Would visit again. 3.5/5.0

Their passion fruit soda is unique, providing a sharp tropical flavor combination. Like others in their line, the Soda has ginger sediments on the bottom that give texture and spice. 3.5/5.0

That's likely the case with Cape Cod Ginger, a company specializing in carbonated, organic, cold-pressed ginger drinks of various fruit flavors including passion fruit and pineapple. I opted for the classic, which induced a healthy tingly sensation as good ginger drinks do. Slightly sweeter than I personall... (read more) 3.5/5.0

Perhaps this speaks to the freshness of the fruit, but a milder drink would be more palatable. It tastes a bit different than normal cider, but if I hadn't seen the label, it would have been hard to guess it was blueberry flavored. 2.5/5.0

I've reviewed 38 ginger-flavored beverages on Tasty Snacking so far and continue to seek new takes on the uniquely spicy root. That's what makes Cawston Press's ginger beer so special - it combines the warming spice of ginger with pressed apples, which provide a level of freshness and sweetness that is refreshingly new.
