Up Mountain Switchel Original Apple Cider Vinegar, Maple Syrup, and Ginger Switchel: Switchel seems to have gotten pretty popular over the past two years, which makes me happy because I especially enjoy ginger drinks. I purchased this one from a Vietnamese restaurant but recently saw that Whole Foods sells it. It's a little too sweet for me, and doesn't have as potent of a ginger flavor as I expected it to. Golden Cider Company Jordgubbe Strawberry Soda: Got this Swedish soda in Stockholm. While the packaging features a picture of a strawberry, it's actually a mix of lightly carbonated apple and strawberry juice. If it didn't have the red color to influence me, I would have guessed it was just apple flavored. Pretty sweet - like a less intense version for Martinelli's. 3.0/5.0

Paul Apple Kougin Amann: Paul is a French bakery chain that has locations in several popular spots around Tokyo. I went to the one in the cute Kagurazaka neighborhood of Tokyo. Having not had any European pastries in a long time, it was definitely a treat to see rows of croissants and tarts; you could smell the butter from around the corner. R. W. Knudsen papaya nectar: A blend of papaya, apple, and pineapple juice (which makes the name pretty misleading). From concentrates. Very sweet (but with no added sugar). Strange aftertaste, kind of like a funky pineapple juice. Don't actually get much papaya flavor. May help to dilute with water or just drink in small servings. 2.0/5.0
