Burger King Cheetos Chicken Fries: I very rarely get fast food, and it's often in times of dire need and a lack of alternatives. I had just a few minutes before my flight from Las Vegas, and the closest fast food "restaurant" was a Burger King. The Cheetos Chicken Fries were crazy enough to give them a shot, and I figured it would take no time at all to stuff them in a box. The Burger King Cheetos Chicken Fries are in actuality chicken "sticks," thinner and longer than your typical mozzarella sticks with a breaded fried coating of a slightly-orange hue (mostly dark brown, though). As expected, they are generously seasoned, and the white chicken meat has a texture I've only ever experienced with frozen chicken nuggets of questionable origin. Unfortunately, the Cheetos cheese flavor was so faint that I couldn't help wondering if it was all part of my imagination, triggered psychologically by the Cheetos-orange of the container. I actually think Cheetos snacks are some of the more fascinatingly engineered, tasty snacks of our age, but the Cheetos Chicken Fries are ultimately a product of sheer marketing power and zero flavor to own up to it. 1.0/5.0
