Coca-Cola Frozen Coke : This Coca-Cola comes in a pouch that you're meant to freeze to enjoy a frozen Coke treat. There are other snacks in Japan that have this type of packaging, like the Coolish soft serve ice cream I reviewed a few weeks ago. You're supposed to completely freeze the package and then let it thaw for about 15-20 minutes before consuming, but I bought it in the refrigerated section at the grocery store, let it freeze at home until it was like soft slushie-like consistency, and then took it out of the freezer to consume. After twisting off the plastic cap, you're meant to squeeze out the Coke, but I found it was really hard to dispense with the small nozzle - a lot of the more liquid coke came out first, and then the leftover ice was kind of diluted of flavor. Also, squeezing a cold foil pouch makes your hands really cold. Overall, it was just ok - I didn't taste any more lemon than you would normally get in Coke, and I prefer more consistent texture made in a dedicated Smoothie machine. Given how common 7-11s are in Japan, I think it would probably be better to have a Coke-flavored slushie there (though it's arguably less portable). 3.0/5.0
