by CHLOE cranberry ginger lemonade: This housemade lemonade from Veggie favorite by CHLOE perfectly captures Thanksgiving in a cup. The cranberry was tart and vividly colored, and the ginger was satisfyingly potent, and the lemonade flavor is acidic but not overpowering. The drink had a bit of pulp, making it feel almost like a smoothie. Among the best of the drinks I've had this year. 4.0/5.0

Sqirl rhubarb lemonade: Fresh pretty-in-pink lemonade. Clean rhubarb flavor with just the right amount of sweetness. A mild lemonade that isn't particularly tart or acidic. 3.5/5.0

Siggi's Raspberry filmjolk: A thick, lightly sweetened raspberry yogurt drink. Good level of tartness and well balanced overall. My only regret is that it's difficult to get everything out due to the nature of the product and shape of the container. 4.0/5.0

Back to the Roots Biodynamic Cinnamon Clusters: This boxed cereal comes in a milk carton and is composed of just four ingredients: stoneground whole wheat, cinnamon, salt, and cane sugar. The cereal is orecchiette shaped, and the stoneground whole wheat gives it a unique irregular texture in the same way that bronze dies do for pasta. It has a great spiced flavor and stays crunchy in milk. One of the best cereals I've had in some time. 4.5/5.0

Honeymee Honeymee Milk Ice Cream and Raw Honey: Honeymee's namesake dessert is a milk ice cream drizzled with raw honey topped with a cube of honeycomb, all served in a branded plastic cup. The milk ice cream is an excellent neutral base – creamy, barely sweetened, and aerated - the closest in texture to soft serve of any ice cream I've had. It makes eating the honey more manageable, but together, it's still overly sweet, especially if you leave the honeycomb until the end. You could just purchase the milk ice cream on its own, but wit... (read more) 3.0/5.0

Seabold Ginger Beer: When in LA, you may stumble across a glass bottle of ginger beer with a hand-written expiration date less than a month away. It feels hefty, matching its $7.50 price tag, with a misty yellow hue. Its packaging instructs you to invert and gently mix, enabling the ginger sediments disperse throughout. The drink is balanced – not too sweet with a good dose of lemon juice and a decent level of spice that fades as quickly as it arrives. It's not quite as good as the absolute best ginger beer ...
