Clio Hazelnut Greek yogurt bar: Bought a second flavor of this yogurt dessert bar from Clio at the Park Slope Food Coop. The first one I tried was a chocolate covered strawberry treat, whose tartness I was impressed by. I was less impressed by this hazelnut flavored bar, mostly because it had less of a distinctive flavor (reminding me of a tart version of the noguat in a Milky Way candy bar, but texturally more set) and the interior ate very dry so that drinking a glass of milk on the side feels like a necessity. Ito En Nata de Coco Yogurt Taste: I knew vending machines were everywhere in Tokyo, even randomly in the streets in residential neighborhoods, but I didn't realize that drinking while walking is not polite in Japan. When people buy drinks from vending machines, they drink it right then and there before continuing on their way, or they pack it to drink later. Hori Milk Soriflora Soy Yogurt: This probiotic yogurt is soybean based and has a definite non-dairy texture (slightly more set and a little grainy compared to normal yogurt). It does have a pleasantly sweet soy milk flavor and is on the sweet side but fairly neutral otherwise. 3.0/5.0

Chichiyasu Setouchi Mandarin Orange Yogurt: I purchased this pack of yogurt from the grocery store because the package is super cute. They're have a mild sherbert orange flavor and are inspired by mandarin oranges grown in the Setouchi region of Japan. They aren't as smooth as American kid's yogurt, with a little bit of graininess, but it gives it character. A little more sour than creamy. 3.0/5.0

Morinaga Peach yogurt with aloe cubes: I was surprised how much I enjoy the yogurt with aloe cubes, which is both sweet and tart. This peach flavored one is pretty good too, but I prefer the original; the peach flavor is kind of a generic peach, similar to Yoplait, and is sweeter than the original, which throws the balance off a bit. If you are interested in trying yogurt with aloe, I'd go for the classic. 3.0/5.0

Zeitaku Kajitsu White Peach & Yogurt: This is a white peach yogurt that contains pieces of peach fruit. I like it more than American peach yogurt, but not so much more - it's fairly neutral and does the job, but it's not the most interesting yogurt on the shelves. 3.0/5.0
