Andy & Cindy Thai Cuisine's Thai Iced Tea: Available at Berkeley's Saturday farmers market, this refreshing beverage is mixed to order, transforming a decently strong cup of black tea into a familiarly Garfield shade of orange as soon as the dairy is mixed in. Very sweet, but a nice companion for strolling through the market on a beautiful day. 3.5/5.0

Bhan Kanom Thai Kanom Bueng Kem: Bhan Kanom Thai is a dessert shop located in a strip mall in the heart of LA's Thai Town. Immediately upon entering the store, you're struck by the wonderful smell of toasted coconut as multiple cooks prepare fresh traditional Thai treats. Along the walls are shelves of packaged snacks, from potato chips to dried seafood to wasabi peas, all from various asian countries and most of which I had never seen before. Bhan Kanom Thai Pangchi: Pangchi is a bite-sized sticky rice pancake cooked on the griddle, giving it a crispy crust on both sides and mochi-like interior mixed with corn. While not captured in this photograph, panchi are actually lilac in color. Mochi is my favorite snack, and this take on crispy mochi was eye opening and delicious. A perfect bite. Boba Guys Thai iced to with milk: While you can request the sweetness level for most drinks at Boba Guys, the Thai iced team comes at one sweetness level, which they approximated to be 75%. While it was sweet, it wasn't overly so, with a balanced and satisfying Thai iced tea flavor. Would have again, but not before I try some of the other enticing flavors! 4.0/5.0 4.0/5.0

Brown Sugar Cafe homemade limeonade: An excellent refreshing drink that is tart and acidic but not overpoweringly so. Great for hot weather. Perfect level of sweetness. A pleasant surprise that it's carbonated. 4.5/5.0
