Thomas Henry Ginger Beer: A German ginger beer made by Thomas Henry; meant as a mixer, but truly fantastic on its own. Ginger sodas are my favorite, and this is definitely in the top 5 that I've had in my life. The drink is well balanced and has a substantial but not overwhelming spicy flavor, but the real surprise is the lingering heat that lasts minutes after your last sip. Tomarchio Aranciata Rossa Sparkling Blood Orange Soda: This pleasantly-carbonated beverage is on the sweet side but nonetheless has a distinctive citrus flavor. I prefer it to the Pellegrino blood orange soda, as it doesn't have a metallic aftertaste. From Sicily. 3.5/5.0

Tomarchio Limonata Sparkling Lemon Soda: A nicely balanced acidic soda that's slightly reminiscent of Mountain Dew, but just for a second. The sizing of the can makes it feel more filling than a typical 12oz, though it's all psychological I think. 3.5/5.0

Tominga Melon Cream Soda: Purchased from Galco's in Los Angeles, this Japanese fruit soda is like a carbonated melon-flavored Calpico: intensely sweet and like a liquified starburst with its artificial fruit flavor and atomic green color. It has a slightly milky finish, with a white froth that collects at the top of the bottle. I've never had a soda like it before, and I probably don't want to have a soda like it again. 3.0/5.0

Tower Ginger Beer: Soda with poorly designed packaging tends to be very authentic - they're created by small distributors who don't have a marketing/branding team. Tower, a Boston-based soda company that's apparently been around since 1914, falls into this category. Upon further research, I found that Tower was actually founded in Somerville. Trader Joe's ginger beer: Last year, I attempted to purchase this drink only to find that the seasonal product was sold out. Seeing it on the shelves this time around, I was especially excited to try it. I'm picky about my ginger beers, and this one is good. Surprisingly robust, spicy ginger flavor for a mass market audience. Good amount of carbonation and citrus. Worth checking out. 4.0/5.0
