Tea Addicts Oolong milk tea with grass jelly: I love the herbal flavor and slippery texture of grass jelly, so I'm especially excited when I find a bubble tea shop that makes it just right (not too firm or sweet). Tea Addict's grass jelly is excellent and generous, and their oolong milk tea (which I purchased at 25% sweetness) was well balanced, tasting first of oolong tea with a creamy, milky finish. Easily one of the best bubble tea shops I've had here in Seattle. 4.0/5.0

Tea King Iron Buddha Milk Tea with Boba: Another solid boba tea shop in Seattle is Tea King, which has both quality fresh brewed teas and a wide range of fruit teas made with fruit syrup made in-house. Their Iron Buddha Milk Tea is an oolong tea, which had a lovely roasted flavor. (Oolong is my go-to option when I'm looking for something a little more nuanced than black tea but don't want the floral notes of jasmine tea). 25% sweetness was perfect for my sugar tolerance, and the boba was excellent too. 4.0/5.0

Tea King Grape Clouds Drink: Normally, bubble tea shops seems to specialize in either milk tea or fruit teas, with few shops being able to produce high quality beverages in both domains. Tea King Kiwi Fruit Tea: Tea King is my absolute favorite fruit tea shop in Seattle. Their kiwi fruit tea did not disappoint, with cubes of kiwi fruit with seeds adding their own texture, while the beverage had a refreshing, floral flavor. mixed with housemade kiwi fruit syrup. I got this drink with aloe, which were juicy, slightly crunchy; cut to a similar size as the kiwi fruit, the textures were really satisfying. 4.5/5.0

Timber City Golden Peach Mint Ginger Beer: This beverage is made by a local brewery in Seattle and comes in a tall can that could potentially be mistaken for beer. The carbonated ginger soda has an excellent peach flavor stronger than most fruit soda, but with an unmistakable spicy ginger kick. Definitely one of the more memorable fruit ginger beers I've had. Timeless Tea Beet Lemon Tea: I was hopeful to find a good bubble tea shop but ultimately found Timeless Tea, a shop close to University District, to be disappointing. The teas are on the expensive side (many over $6), though the menu is expansive.
