Iggy's Hawthorn Rose Honeybrew Kombucha: Iggy's is a kombucha brand from Bainbridge Island in Washington that's distinctly sweetened with honey. This particular can, purchased at PCC, has cardamom and myrrh (a tree sap), giving it a uniquely floral, fruity, and spiced blend. A standout flavor that doesn't quite taste like anything I've had before. Highly recommended. 4.5/5.0

Young Tea Rose Green Milk Tea with Boba: Young Tea is a local Seattle tea chain that started off in the International District and now has a location in Wallingford. They brew a wide variety of loose leaf tea, catering to customers that want multiple options for their oolong (e.g., red, rock, golden lily, or high mt.). I really enjoyed their purple rose green milk tea, which had an ideal combination of punchy herbal green tea flavor with an aftertaste of floral rose (not quite as pronounced as the purple-pink mixture might sugges... Eat Me Cardamom Rose Pistachio Halva Dairy-Free Ice Cream: Coconut-based ice cream I purchased from the Park Slope Food Coop, from a women-owned independent company based in Rochester, New York. Combines some of my favorite flavors in an unexpected mix. The ice cream is smooth and creamy and contains bits of crunchy halva, which adds a delicious slightly savory sesame kick. Nutty, sweet, and floral. Definitely up for trying their other flavors after this introduction. 4.0/5.0

Tsaocaa Rose oolong tea with pear: Tsaocaa is a small trendy bubble tea shop a block away from the Chicago CTA subway stop it's large enough to seat groups of teenagers hanging out for hours. I ordered a cup of rose oolong tea with pear with a topping of honey aloe. Served in a sturdy cup, the tea had a slice of orange and lime and a scattering of goji berries floating on the surface alongside a pyramid-shaped tea bag. While the honey aloe was on the sweet side, the drink on the whole had a cleansing and refreshing herbal f... (read more) 3.5/5.0

Bao Tea House Rose pudding bao: A special Valentine's day menu item at Bao Tea House in the West Village, these buttery rose pudding baos have a custard-like filling somewhere between whipped cream and pudding. It's light in texture, but quite rich in flavor and tastes deeply of rose On top is a satisfying crumble coating. Overall, the dessert stands out to me with its combination of baked and creamy textures, but it's on the rich side altogether. 3.5/5.0

Moge Tee Cheese Rose Oolong Tea with Boba: I passed by Moge Tee on Christmas evening and was surprised to find a bubble tea shop open at 10pm. They were out of their normal milk teas, so I got one of these cheese-foam options, which seems to be growing in popularity at bubble tea shops more generally. The rose oolong tea, at a quarter sweetness, had a pleasantly floral flavor that still tasted strongly of oolong tea, and the boba had a quality springiness without being overly soft. I think the cheese flavor didn't work consuming t... (read more) 3.5/5.0
