Food Should Taste Good peppercorn blend brown rice crackers: After I gave the last box of brown rice crackers from FSTG a perfect 5.0, I was eager to try another flavor from the line. These peppercorn crackers are well balanced, a challenge with an ingredient as potent as peppercorns. Similar to the last I tried, the texture of the crackers was light and crunchy. However, overall I found this flavor to be less special and memorable than the red pepper chips. That isn't to say that these are bad by any means, but it's not a flavor that I see myself eve... Bamboo Lane crunchy rice rollers: A very simple dessert containing crispy rice and sugar, this snack comes in a large, cylindrical form, making them slightly awkward to eat. Nonetheless, it's a satisfying healthy snack with a very light level of sweetness. Like most rice snacks, though, it's not the most filling. 3.5/5.0

Food Should Taste Good roasted red pepper brown rice crackers: This snack had done the impossible--make brown rice taste good! A rare case where a snack cracker holds its own without any dip. In fact, to pair it with a dip would mask two characteristics that make it essentially perfect. First, the red pepper and sesame flavor is pronounced, and the cracker is already perfectly seasoned. Second, the texture of the cracker is ideal: super crispy, yet just thick enough to still be substantial. This hardly ever happens, but I am at a loss at what could make... (read more) 5.0/5.0

Haitai Korean chili rice cake snack: A uniquely addictive snack with a bit of an identity crisis. Tubular, ridged wheat \"crackers\" that are meant to resemble their solid rice cake counterparts but look more like macaroni. Unlike real rice cakes, this snack is crunchy. Coated in a sweet and savory chili glaze. The immediate flavor is sweet, but the finish is just spicy enough. Really didn't know what to expect when getting this snack, but it is oddly delicious and definitely worth trying. 4.0/5.0

Lundberg Kokū Seaweed organic rice cakes: Dense rice cakes made with brown rice. Feels much more substantial and filling than a typical rice cake. Seaweed flavor is subtle but adds a bit of seasoning. There is supposedly a hint of wasabi, but I'm not able to discern it. Definitely a healthy snack you can feel good about eating. 3.5/5.0

Spring Home peanut flavored glutinous rice balls: Small, frozen rice balls with a peanut filling consisting of a thick paste and bits of peanuts. The texture of the peanut filling is not very good, and it gets stuck in your teeth. Not too sweet (contains 4g of sugar per serving). 2.5/5.0
