They have a slice kick and generally taste of a seafood-flavored snack (not necessarily identifiable as crab). Overall, I enjoyed them - I would try other flavors front this brand, but I probably wouldn't buy this exact flavor again as there are so many more snacks to try in Japan. 3.5/5.0

Singapore Chicken Rice Potato Chips: Ridged potato chips that are flavored like Singapore Chicken Rice, which I'm not sure I've actually had before but reminds me of a more peppery Hainanese Chicken, with a slightly boozy flavor (from rice wine). I don't believe it is actually meant to taste like rice - just the chicken that comes with the dish. The potato chips themselves are not so crispy and more thickly cut than normal ridged potato chips - they remind me more of Pringles in their potato flavor than Ruffles for example. ... Koikeya Strong Sour Cream and Onion Potato Chips: These chips taste like the Japanese version of Ruffles Sour Cream and Onion Chips except that the flavor is stronger on tangy sour cream taste, which I enjoy even more. I get the sense that Koikeya is sort of like the Frito Lay's of Japan, since their brands are everywhere and especially prominent in convenience stores. Overall, a familiar but comforting junk food flavor. 3.5/5.0

Trader Joe's Ridge Cut Potato Chips with Horseradish and Chives: I really enjoyed this fresh take on sour cream and onion. The horseradish flavor is spicy but palatably so, and the chips have a great texture – not too thick and more crispy than crunchy.
