Sanritsu Genji Pie: Genji Pies are heart-shaped Palmier cookies that come in individually wrapped packages containing two cookies each. The flaky pastry is surrounded by a ring of sugar, and while the cookies are sweet, they aren't as sweet as most American versions and come in a more snackable size. Feeling happy to have easy access to an affordable cookie that reminds me of home. 3.5/5.0

Straw Propeller Oh My Pumpkin Pie oatmeal: Not quite a snack, but I purchased this product from the Leanbox in lab to sustain myself for a few hours. Unfortunately, I misread the directions, thinking this was microwaveable after adding tap water. Instead, you are supposed to add boiling water. Nonetheless, I microwaved it for 2.5 minutes and mixed the combination of oats, raisins, pumpkin seeds, and sugary spice blend, including nutmeg and cinnamon. Trader Joe's pumpkin pie mochi flavored ice cream: 'Tis the season for an insane assortment of pumpkin flavored products at Trader Joe's, including pumpkin spiced pumpkin seeds. This TJ branded mochi ice cream is so similarly packaged to the Mikawaya brand they also carry that I wonder if it was a partnership.
