Alta Palla Sparkling blood orange soda: Having never seen this California-based brand, I purchased this can from my local Andronico's. Unfortunately, while it's an organic product, it tastes strikingly similar to Sunkist and is unnecessarily sweet. The one good thing I can say about is that the amount of carbonation was spot on. 2.5/5.0

Annie's Cheddar Snack Mix: Contains pretzels, cheddar bunny crackers, and buttery crackers. Mixed together, the buttery crackers don't taste much different than the cheddar crackers, which means there are essentially only two types in this mix: pretzels and cheese crackers. Technically, I suppose that's the least number you can have that still constitutes a \"mix,\" but I would argue this box lacks variety. Moreover, it gets pretty salty after a few handfuls. Annie's organic cheddar squares: I'm generally a fan of Annie's bunny crackers, and these more traditional square are maybe the last of their brand I haven't tried. Unfortunately, I found that the crackers lacked seasoning and consistently tasted over baked. The under seasoning is surprising since I tend to like very lightly seasoned foods, so those used to over salted crackers like Cheez-Its will definitely consider these a miss. Annie's organic chocolate chip granola bars: These granola bars resemble rice crispie treats more than granola bars, with a sticky and somewhat gooey consistency and crispy rice. The bars are on the small size; suitable for a child's lunchbox, but not filling enough for an adult. Maybe I should have known from the bright purple packaging. 2.5/5.0

Annie's Organic cocoa, honey, and vanilla friends bunnies: A new cereal from Annie's consisting of bunny-shaped puffed grains. The cocoa, honey, and vanilla flavors are in good balance such that a regular portion size leaves a bowl of milk tasting of mild chocolate milk, less sugary and deep in color than full-on chocolate cereals. An organic take on kids cereal that's still enjoyable as an adult, though it is very sweet (though not using high fructose corn syrup). 3.0/5.0
