Morgenstern's American Egg, Toast, and Peaches 'n Clotted Cream Ice Cream: Went back to Morgenstern's to try a few more of the flavors exclusive to their new 88 Houston location. The American egg is one of the few ice cream flavors on the Morgenstern's menu made with actual eggs (they are a largely egg-less ice cream shop, unlike most ice cream makers), and the flavor is meant to taste more like an egg custard than a savory egg dish. Morgenstern's Black currant sorbet : A sharp black currant sorbet, sure to color your entire mouth deep purple. More tart than sweet, and in that way tastes remarkably close to the real fruit. Texture was a tad inconsistent, witha few icier segments. Wish Morgenstern's could let you do two flavors in one scoop because this was an example of a flavor that was strong enough that having an entire single-dip cup felt superfluous. 3.5/5.0

Morgenstern's My Wife's Addiction Ice Cream Sandwich: Got this ice cream sandwich as part of the Fuck That's Delicious collaboration at Morgenstern's in NYC. The sandwich consists of peanut butter ice cream spread with a layer of strawberry jelly and sandwiched between two "no chocolate chip" cookies, all rolled in an everything bagel mix of sesame seeds, caraway seeds, poppy seeds, onion, and garlic. Morgenstern's Stingray Creamsicle: This is the best creamsicle I've ever had in my life. The vanilla ice cream contains bites of chewy lemon jam and is double dipped in both lemon and concord grape flavoring, giving it an impossibly smooth shell and layers-on-layers of flavor. Morgenstern's Sumo Yuzu Pop: This is the last review I'll be writing of ice cream treats from Morgenstern's collaboration with Action Bronson. This double dipped yuzu pop is pure citrus in its highest form. Several layers of coating, with a smooth and somewhat slick texture, add to an intensely tart yet balanced citrus ice cream center. Anyone that loves citrus will be able to fully appreciate how excellent and singular it is. 4.5/5.0
