Mariani Sweet BBQ California Almonds: I'm not usually a nut person, but I heard because of their high protein content, they are more filling than other snacks. I decided to buy a bag of almonds to bring to work and see how effective they were for combatting post-lunch hunger. Denroku Porippy Spicy Peanut Snack: I found these peanut snacks in what seemed to be the bar snack section, with a variety of nuts and dried seafood. I've had versions of this snack before in rice cracker mixes; it consists of a crispy rice cracker coating surrounding a single roasted peanut. It has a very unique sweet and savory quality, with a mix of seasonings and flavorings including honey and nori. Very tasty and affordable! Would definitely buy again. 4.0/5.0

Trader Joe's Mesquite smoked seasoned almonds: I don't typically snack on nuts but they're just about the only snack that my dad eats. On my last visit home, my mom purchased these seasoned almonds from Trader Joe's, and I found them to be surprisingly tasty. They feature a prominent smoky flavor that's more like a campfire than sweet barbecue chips – and I mean that in a positive way. While I would never purchase this snack myself given the overwhelming size of the bag, this would be a great snack for sharing. 3.5/5.0
