Lotte Chilsung Lemon Line Soft Drink: When I purchased this beverage to go along with my dinner in ICH, I was told that it was the Korean version of Sprite. I can confirm that it tasted exactly like Sprite. 2.5/5.0

Brooklyn Soda Works lemon and thyme soda: About five years ago, I had a fantastic bottled apple ginger soda from Brooklyn Soda Works at a restaurant in NYC. Momofuku Milk Bar strawberry lemon cake truffles: Purchased in packs of three, these truffles have a cake-like candy coating and dense lemon interior. The strawberry crumble was too sweet, while the lemon truffle was tart. Overall, the flavors did not quite come together. 2.0/5.0

Happy Lemon Lemon black tea: Textbook mediocre black tea. Tastes like Lipton, and it probably is. On the plus side, the drinks contains an entire lemon, sliced into wedges. But the overall effect is black tea I can easily make at home. Good thing it was free (from the buy one get on free promotion during Happy Lemon’s opening weekend in Berkeley). 2.0/5.0

Timeless Tea Beet Lemon Tea: I was hopeful to find a good bubble tea shop but ultimately found Timeless Tea, a shop close to University District, to be disappointing. The teas are on the expensive side (many over $6), though the menu is expansive. My beet lemon tea had a ton of sliced lemons in it, which filled up much of the volume of the cup, and there were so many lemon seeds that it made it difficult to drink. Flavor-wise, it wasn't any better than you would expect the combination of beet juice and lemon water to... (read more) 2.0/5.0
