Kung Fu Tea honey bubble tea: At last, good bubble tea has come to Cambridge. I was first introduced to Kung Fu Tea in NYC and was happy to find a tea spot offering varied sweetness levels (such as half sugar). There are now several locations in Boston, but the latest location has opened in Davis Square. The honey tea has no added sugar and is refreshingly and naturally sweet. The boba texture is excellent. I got it with half sugar, which was sweet enough. Boba texture was very good, so a shame the drink was not up to par. 3.0/5.0

Boba was on the soft side but decent. Quickly learning that quality control varies a lot among the KFTs in Boston. This one in Boston on Mass Ave near the Christian Science Church is alright. 3.0/5.0

While I was told that the drink contained mango pulp, it wasn't discernible. Not bad, but also not great. 3.0/5.0

I really liked how the ginger flavor was prominent and unforgiving-perfect for cold winter nights. But as I progressed to the bottom of the cup, the drink became overly sweet. And the boba was terrible (far too mushy). For the tea alone, it was a 3.5, but with the boba, it comes down to a 3.0. 3.0/5.0

The sweetness isn't overwhelming but significantly more than zero. Peach and herbal flavor is above average. The boba was too squishy, but the jelly that came with the drinks was good. 3.0/5.0
