Yes Chips shrimp dressed in garlic: To be honest, the main reason I bought this snack was the ridiculousness of a shrimp wearing a head of garlic. Packaging aside, the chips themselves have a styrofoam-like texture, not unlike airy shrimp chips that were given to non-Asian diners in Chinese restaurants in the 90s. Still, the seafood flavor is actually quite good, and the garlic doesn't leave a strong aftertaste. The chips melt in your mouth (from all of the saturated fat, I'm sure). 3.5/5.0

Tao Kae Noi kimchi flavored Super Crisp: This is the last of the Tao Kae Noi line of grilled seaweed snacks I had yet to try from my local Hmart. The umami-rich flavor has a great balance of savory and sweet. The spicy kimchi taste builds and lingers. A uniquely crispy and substantial seaweed snack. 3.5/5.0

I-Mei coconut milk wafer roll: Similar in texture to rolled wafers like the pirouline but in a more convenient, flat packaging. The wafer is thin and crispy, and the filling is creamy and not too sweet. Decent dessert. 3.5/5.0

Calbee Saya wasabi ranch peas: I grew up eating Calbee shrimp crackers, but this is the first time I've had any of their other products. I was intrigued by the east meets west flavor combining ranch and wasabi and found it works surprisingly well. The predominant flavor is wasabi, but it finishes with a slight tang and creaminess from the ranch. The packaging claims that they're a \"good-for-you\" snack alternative, but they're still pretty greasy, like other fried green bean snacks I've had. Still, this unique snack was ... Nissin sesame sable cookies: I grew up eating the very buttery coconut biscuits you get in a silver foil package from Asian grocery stores. These cookies have a slight resemblance, with a biscuit-like base and glazed, coconut flavored top, but it's not as sweet as the normal coconut cookies, and the black sesame balances out the sweetness. At five cookies to a serving, it's not the most filling snack, but the flavor is memorable, and it's reasonably priced. 3.5/5.0

Kasugai Squid Pea Snack: I expected this to be a wasabi pea snack but quickly discovered that pea is short for peanuts. Each crunchy rice ball contains a single peanut. The exterior is crispy and tastes a bit like shrimp crackers (the ingredients list cuttlefish). A bag contains two servings, which go quickly. 3.5/5.0
