Elgorriaga Vanilla flavour filled biscuits: America seems to have completely bypassed the economical biscuits-in-tubes market common in Europe and Asia. This particular one from Spain contains crumbly biscuit sandwich cookies with a vanilla icing filling. The biscuits are largely flavorless but have a decent texture, and the icing is very sweet. Mi-Del Maple Ginger Cremes: I bought these from the seasonal / new section at the Park Slope Food Co-op because I love ginger. The sandwich cookies are half chocolate, half vanilla and contain a potently sweet maple ginger filling that smells mostly of maple and tastes mostly of sugar. There is some ginger in there, but just a little. 2.5/5.0

Lotte Cookies and Cream Crunky Chocolate Balls: I bought this bag of candy from the Lawson convenience store, and it instantly brought me back to Hershey's Cookies and Cream chocolate bars, with their waxy white chocolate and dominant vanilla flavor. The form factor of this chocolate are bite-sized balls, and the interior has a crunchy cookie-like texture. Flavor-wise, it was neither good nor bad, but health-wise it was definitely not worth the calories. 2.5/5.0
