YBC Noir Cocoa Cookies: These are the Japanese equivalent of Oreo cookies, which I tend to have about once a year at the MIT Mystery Hunt competition. Since Mystery Hunt was completely remote this year, I wasn't able to partake in the normal consumption of college-dorm junk food normally shared in person to fuel late-night puzzling, but I still wanted to capture the spirit, which led me to purchase this snack. Annie's Organic cocoa, honey, and vanilla friends bunnies: A new cereal from Annie's consisting of bunny-shaped puffed grains. The cocoa, honey, and vanilla flavors are in good balance such that a regular portion size leaves a bowl of milk tasting of mild chocolate milk, less sugary and deep in color than full-on chocolate cereals. An organic take on kids cereal that's still enjoyable as an adult, though it is very sweet (though not using high fructose corn syrup). 3.0/5.0

Trader Joe's Cocoa Almond Cashew Beverage: Another one of Trader Joe's growing flavored non-dairy selection, this chocolate cashew drink instantly brought me back to my childhood with a taste reminiscent of a better quality Yoohoo. It's very thick, almost like melted ice cream. I enjoyed it mixed with chia seeds for chia seed pudding; by itself, it's a bit too rich for me. 3.0/5.0

Max Brenner's Dark Chicao: Bite-sized discs of dark chocolate embedded with cocoa nibs. The cocoa nibs add texture, but the flavor of the chocolate and nibs don't build off of one another. Overall, the chocolate is not particularly special and pricy for what it is. 2.5/5.0
