Matutina Cinnamon Concha: Sadly, this post is solely for documentation as Matutina, a Mexican bakery in downtown Portland (about a 5 minute walk from Powell's), is now closed. I was able to try a concha fresh from the oven on the day before they shut their doors, and it was excellent. The bread itself was fluffy, yet had a slightly chewy texture, and the cinnamon crust was on the sweet side but had a lovely spiced flavor reminiscent of breakfast cereal. Meyers Bageri Cinnamon Roll: On my recent trip to Scandinavia, the one item I was on the look out for was cardamom buns. Unfortunately, a handful of the bakeries I tried to go to didn't work out. Most of them were closed for the month of July as part of their summer holiday (could you imagine if people did this in the US?!), which I only sadly discovered after going to them in person. Milkbar Cinnamon Toast Crunch Marshmallow Cookie: A sweet, indulgent, buttery cookie available at the Milk Bar flagship shop in Nomad. Childhood favorites Cinnamon Toast Crunch and marshmallows combine to form a chewy cookie, a bit hard on the edges (but maybe it didn't come directly from the oven). A nice nostalgic treat. 3.5/5.0

Mom's Best Cereal toasted cinnamon squares: A slightly less guilty version of cinnamon toast crunch with whole grain and no artificial flavors. Still very (and overly) sweet. 2.5/5.0

Naturebox Aplpe CInnamon Yogurt Bar: Another complimentary snack on Delta, this dense granola bar has a layer of yogurt icing on the bottom. Its flavor is exactly the same as the Quaker apple cinnamon microwavable hot cereal packs, and the yogurt has the same waxy texture as yogurt-covered pretzels. It's really sweet. 2.5/5.0

Nature's Path blueberry cinnamon flax: An organic health food cereal containing a powerhouse of quality ingredients yet doesn't taste particularly good, especially the fiber \"twigs\" that taste a bit like what I'd imagine hamster bedding might taste like. Once in a while, you get a dried blueberry and feel like you won the lottery. Unfortunately, even that is small and insubstantial. 2.0/5.0
